Clad in elaborate black and white attire, presented in a disapproving stance, Pai Mei ponderously strokes the length of his solid-white beard. A fabled practitioner of Bak Mei Kung Fu, Pai Mei imparted tutelage to Elle Driver, Bill, and seemingly upon Bill’s recommendation, The Bride. During her fight with Elle, The Bride learns that Pai Mei was responsible for the loss of Elle’s right eye, and that Elle had fatally poisoned Pai Mei in retaliation. Despite Pai Mei’s draconian regimen and intolerance for failure, he apparently experienced some level of affinity for the Bride in that he taught her, alone, the dreaded Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique. Pai Mei is accompanied by a small display base.
